Fly Fishing Report For The Missouri River: Craig, Montana.

Missouri River - November 1st, 2011
Recorded: 40 ° F Fishing: Great As we slip into November, fishing will be very good and very weather dependent. Most of the time, clouds and cool will be around. Much of the time lately, however, the wind has been around at a menacing level. Look for more of the same over the next week. You have to be here to catch the break you'll need. By this weekend, you'll know that winter is just around the corner. High temperatures will only reach into the upper 20's....brrrrr.

At 5,000 cfs and 52°, the Mo is in perfect shape. There's still enough bugs around to get the fish on top. You'll still get fish in the wind. You just have to throw streamers or nymphs. Don't count the season out quite yet. A change in the weather can do wonders.
